Raised in rabbit against the antigen-processing enzyme ERAP1, this polyclonal IgG reagent is supplied by Antibodies.com as an unconjugated 50 µl aliquot validated for Western blot detection in human and mouse samples. ERAP1 (Endoplasmic Reticulum Aminopeptidase 1), also referenced as ARTS-1 or ERAAP, is a zinc-dependent metalloaminopeptidase that resides in the endoplasmic reticulum and trims N-terminal residues from antigenic peptides to shape the repertoire loaded onto MHC class I molecules. It also contributes to ectodomain shedding of receptors such as IL-6Rα and TNFR1, linking its activity to inflammatory signaling and to the well-established genetic association of ERAP1 variants with ankylosing spondylitis, particularly in HLA-B27-positive individuals. Researchers use this antibody to characterize antigen presentation pathways, ER stress responses, and ERAP1-dependent cytokine regulation in cell lysates and tissue homogenates by immunoblotting. The product is supplied as a 50 µl liquid vial of polyclonal rabbit IgG without preservative azide-free conjugation, intended for research use only in standard Western blot workflows.
