Anti-ERβ Antibody

Raised in rabbit and affinity-purified by epitope-specific chromatography, this polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com is directed against estrogen receptor beta (ERβ) and is supplied as a 50 µl liquid at 1 mg/ml in PBS containing 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA and 0.02% sodium azide. The immunogen is a synthetic peptide derived from the human ERβ sequence around the non-phosphorylation site at serine 105, allowing the antiserum to detect endogenous levels of the receptor in human, mouse and rat samples. The unconjugated antibody is validated for Western blotting, immunofluorescence and ELISA, making it suitable for studies of ERβ expression and signalling in cell and tissue lysates as well as fixed specimens.
