A rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com is raised against ERα when phosphorylated at Serine 118. It is supplied as an unconjugated product, validated for use in Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) applications, and has been shown to react with Human, Mouse and Rat samples.

The immunogen is a synthetic phosphopeptide derived from human ERα around the phosphorylation site of Serine 118, and the antibody specifically detects endogenous levels of ERα protein only when phosphorylated at Ser118. It has been affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using the epitope-specific immunogen, with a reported purity of > 95% by SDS-PAGE. The observed molecular weight is ~ 66 kDa.

The product is formulated at 1 mg/ml in Phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide, at approximately pH 7.2.
