Anti-Epstein-Barr Virus (EBV-gp350) Antibody

This mouse IgG1(k) monoclonal reagent from Antibodies.com recognises the gp350 envelope glycoprotein of Epstein-Barr Virus, the principal target of virus-neutralising antibody responses. The antibody is supplied as a 100 µg aliquot of purified protein in a vial, in an unconjugated format that allows direct conjugation to fluorophores, biotin, or enzymes for downstream detection. Because gp350 mediates attachment of EBV to B lymphocytes through complement receptor CD21, anti-gp350 antibodies are commonly used to investigate viral tropism, neutralisation kinetics, and the molecular events that accompany B-cell infection and transformation.
