Anti-EPS8 Antibody

This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets the Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor Pathway Substrate 8 (EPS8), an approximately 97 kDa signaling adapter that couples receptor tyrosine kinase activation to actin cytoskeleton remodeling. Supplied by Antibodies.com as an unconjugated IgG preparation in a 100 µl volume, the reagent is validated for Western blot and immunohistochemistry on human samples. EPS8 was originally characterized as a direct substrate of the EGFR kinase and as a coactivator of the Rac-GEF Sos1, making it a relevant marker in studies of mitogenic signaling, cell migration, and tumor invasion. Investigations of breast, colorectal, and head-and-neck carcinoma tissue have reported elevated EPS8 expression in association with metastatic behavior and poorer prognosis. The polyclonal format allows recognition of multiple epitopes on the target, supporting reliable detection in both denaturing immunoblotting and formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded IHC workflows.
