Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this primary polyclonal antibody is raised in rabbit against Epoxide hydrolase 1 (EPHX1), also known as EPHX, EPOX, Epoxide hydratase, mEH, or microsomal epoxide hydrolase. The immunogen corresponds to a recombinant protein fragment spanning amino acids 1–193 of human EPHX1, and the reagent is supplied as a 100 µl aliquot of purified IgG in unconjugated form, ideal for clean detection without secondary-reagent interference. The antibody has been validated for Western blot (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC), and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF) applications, and it reacts with human samples. Purification is carried out by antigen-affinity chromatography, and the final formulation is prepared in 0.1 M Tris-buffered saline (pH 7.0) supplemented with 10% glycerol; 0.01% thimerosal is included as a preservative. For routine handling, the vial is shipped at 4 °C and should be aliquoted upon arrival and stored at –20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve activity. For continuous use, storage at 4 °C is acceptable for short periods. This reagent is intended for research use only and is not suitable for diagnostic or therapeutic applications. Researchers studying xenobiotic metabolism, detoxification pathways, or the role of microsomal epoxide hydrolase in hepatic and extrahepatic tissues will find this polyclonal reagent a reliable tool for probing EPHX1 expression across multiple platforms.
