This unconjugated polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com is raised in rabbit against Ephrin-B3 (EFNB3), a transmembrane ligand of the Eph receptor tyrosine kinase family that participates in bidirectional signaling at sites of cell-cell contact. The antibody is supplied as 100 µL of liquid and is validated for western blot and immunohistochemistry on human, mouse, and rat samples. EFNB3 is widely studied in neurobiology, where it governs axon pathfinding, synapse organization, and the patterning of myelinating oligodendrocytes along axonal tracts. In cancer research, deregulated EFNB3 expression has been reported in melanoma, glioblastoma, and several carcinomas, where engagement of EphB receptors influences tumor cell invasion, angiogenesis, and interaction with the surrounding stroma.

As an unconjugated primary antibody, the reagent can be paired with labeled secondary antibodies chosen for the detection platform of interest, including HRP for chromogenic western blot or fluorescence conjugates for multiplexed immunolabeling on tissue sections. The polyclonal format provides recognition of multiple epitopes on EFNB3, which is useful when target expression is low or when working with conserved regions across rodent and human specimens. For best results, store refrigerated and protect from light, and titrate the antibody on the specific sample type before scaling up experimental runs.
