EphA3 belongs to the Eph receptor tyrosine kinase family, the largest subgroup of receptor tyrosine kinases, and participates in cell-cell signaling events governing axon guidance, angiogenesis, and tumor cell invasion. Phosphorylation at tyrosine 602 marks receptor activation and recruitment of downstream effectors, so a phospho-specific reagent is valuable for tracking ligand-dependent signaling in transfected cell lines and primary tissues.

This rabbit polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com is raised against the phospho-Y602 epitope and supplied unconjugated at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline containing 0.05% sodium azide at approximately pH 7.2. It is validated for Western blot and shows reactivity with human, mouse, and rat samples, enabling cross-species comparison of EphA3 phosphorylation status under varying experimental conditions.

Each vial contains 100 µl of antibody, sufficient for several immunoblotting experiments. Store refrigerated; protect from light and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles to preserve phospho-specific binding activity. The polyclonal format offers broader epitope recognition than a typical monoclonal preparation, which can be advantageous when the modified residue is partially masked by interacting partners in a lysate.
