Generated in rabbit and purified as a polyclonal antiserum, this Antibodies.com reagent recognizes EPHA1 (Ephrin type-A receptor 1), a receptor tyrosine kinase that mediates ephrin-driven cell-cell contact signaling during development, angiogenesis, and immune cell migration. The unconjugated format, supplied as a 100 µl vial, is validated for western blot and immunofluorescence detection of endogenous human EPHA1 protein in cell lysates, tissue sections, and cultured lines. Common laboratory uses include mapping receptor localization at the plasma membrane, tracking ligand-induced phosphorylation states, and corroborating transcriptomic data for Eph family members in tumor and stromal compartments. For best results, aliquot the antibody upon arrival, store aliquots frozen, and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles to preserve epitope binding across multiple blotting or staining sessions.
