This polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com is raised in rabbit against a phosphorylated tyrosine residue (Y605) located in the juxtamembrane domain of human EPHA1, a member of the Eph receptor tyrosine kinase family. Phosphorylation at Y605 is associated with EPHA1 receptor activation and downstream signaling, making this reagent useful for studies of Eph/ephrin biology, receptor tyrosine kinase signaling, and tumor cell migration in human and rat samples.

Validated for Western blot (WB) detection, the antibody is supplied as a 100 µl aliquot at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (pH ~7.2) containing 15 mM sodium azide as preservative. It is unconjugated, allowing flexible choice of secondary labels and detection chemistries in phospho-receptor studies. Reactivity covers both Human and Rat EPHA1, supporting cross-species work in cell line models and tissue lysates.

Recommended use includes Western blot of whole-cell lysates from serum-starved or ephrin-stimulated cells to monitor EPHA1 activation state. For research use only; storage at 4°C short term and -20°C long term preserves phospho-epitope binding.
