This polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com targets the Epithelial Cell Adhesion Molecule (EPCAM), a type I transmembrane glycoprotein widely used as a marker in epithelial-origin tissue studies. Raised in rabbit, the reagent is supplied unconjugated at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline containing 0.05% sodium azide, pH approximately 7.2. The validated applications are western blot and immunofluorescence, where the reagent has been confirmed reactive against human, mouse, and rat samples. Each vial delivers 100 µl of working stock, sufficient for multiple membrane-based or imaging experiments.

The H150 designation indicates that the immunogen corresponds to a defined segment of the EPCAM cytoplasmic region, providing consistent recognition across the conserved portion of the molecule. Researchers commonly apply this reagent when characterising epithelial tumour lines, normal glandular epithelium, and stem cell populations that display the CD326 surface antigen. The polyclonal nature of the antibody allows simultaneous binding to multiple epitopes, which can increase signal intensity in both western blot and immunofluorescence workflows compared with a monoclonal reagent.

For best results, store refrigerated in the dark, aliquot on first use to limit freeze-thaw cycles, and protect from prolonged light exposure. The product is intended for research use only and is not approved for diagnostic or therapeutic applications.
