Anti-EPCAM Antibody [E52-8]

This mouse IgM monoclonal antibody (clone E52-8) produced by Antibodies.com binds the Epithelial Cell Adhesion Molecule, a 40 kDa type I transmembrane glycoprotein expressed on most normal epithelia and frequently overexpressed in carcinomas of the colon, breast, pancreas, and prostate. The reagent is supplied as a 100 µg liquid aliquot and has been validated for western blot, immunocytochemistry, and immunohistochemistry on paraffin-embedded tissue, supporting membrane and cytoplasmic staining of epithelial-derived cells and tumor specimens. Broad cross-reactivity with both human and mouse EPCAM enables applications in xenograft, syngeneic, and patient-derived tissue studies, and the unconjugated format allows flexible secondary-labeling strategies for routine epithelial biomarker research.
