Anti-EPCAM Antibody

This unconjugated mouse monoclonal IgM antibody binds EPCAM (Epithelial Cell Adhesion Molecule), an approximately 40 kDa type I transmembrane glycoprotein also referenced as CD326 or TACSTD1. EPCAM mediates calcium-independent homotypic adhesion within epithelial sheets and is broadly expressed on simple, pseudostratified, and transitional epithelia. Overexpression on carcinoma cells of the colon, breast, pancreas, liver, lung, and prostate makes it a frequent target in oncology workflows, including circulating tumor cell isolation and epithelial carcinoma stem-cell phenotyping.

Supplied as 100 µL of antibody in 1×TBS (pH 7.4) with 1% BSA, 40% glycerol, and 0.05% sodium azide as preservative.
