Anti-EPCAM Antibody

Designed for high-specificity detection of the epithelial cell adhesion molecule, this recombinant rabbit monoclonal reagent from Antibodies.com targets EPCAM (also known as CD326, Ep-CAM, TACSTD1, TROP1, and GA733-2), a 35–43 kDa transmembrane glycoprotein widely used as a marker of epithelial lineages and carcinomas. The antibody is supplied as 50 µl of an unconjugated, BSA- and glycerol-stabilized formulation prepared in 1×TBS (pH 7.4) with 1% BSA, 40% glycerol, and 0.05% sodium azide as preservative, and is validated for Western Blot (WB) on samples from Human, Mouse, and Rat. As an IgG-class monoclonal raised in Rabbit, it is intended for routine western blotting workflows where clean, lot-consistent detection of EPCAM is required; for short-term use the vial can be kept refrigerated, while long-term storage at –20 °C in small aliquots helps preserve activity and minimize freeze/thaw damage.
