Epithelial cell adhesion molecule (EP-CAM, also called CD326 or TACSTD1) is an approximately 40 kDa type I transmembrane glycoprotein expressed on most simple, pseudostratified, and transitional epithelia. This rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com targets the extracellular domain of EP-CAM and is validated for Western blot and ELISA workflows. The unconjugated reagent is supplied as 100 µl of polyclonal antiserum raised in rabbit, enabling flexible secondary antibody pairing for immunoblotting and plate-based immunoassays. EP-CAM is widely used as a carcinoma marker and has been investigated as a circulating tumor cell and cancer stem cell identifier, so this reagent supports oncology, stem cell, and epithelial biology research in human, mouse, and rat sample panels.
