ENO1 (alpha-enolase) is a multifunctional glycolytic enzyme that catalyzes the conversion of 2-phosphoglycerate to phosphoenolpyruvate. Beyond its cytoplasmic metabolic role, surface-expressed ENO1 acts as a plasminogen-binding receptor implicated in tumor invasion, hypoxia response, and certain autoimmune conditions, making it a target of broad interest across cancer biology, neuroscience, and immunology research.

This polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com is raised in rabbit against ENO1 and validated for Western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence applications. It cross-reacts with human, mouse, and rat samples, supporting translational work that spans patient-derived tissue, rodent disease models, and in vitro cell systems. The reagent is supplied unconjugated at 1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, packaged as a 100 µl vial.

For IHC on formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded sections, antigen retrieval is commonly recommended. The unconjugated format lets end users pair it with their preferred HRP- or fluorophore-labelled secondary detection system. Store at -20°C in working aliquots to limit freeze-thaw cycles of the glycerol-containing stock, and protect from light when handling the thawed vial.
