Anti-ENG Antibody

Sourced from Antibodies.com, this research-grade reagent is a rabbit polyclonal antibody raised against ENG (Endoglin), a homodimeric transmembrane glycoprotein widely studied as a marker of endothelial cells and neoangiogenesis. The immunogen is a recombinant human ENG protein, and the antibody was purified by affinity chromatography using that immunogen to ensure specificity for endogenous total ENG protein. It is supplied at 1.0 mg/mL in a 50 µL volume, formulated in phosphate-buffered saline (pH 7.4) containing 150 mM sodium chloride, 0.02% sodium azide, and 50% glycerol as a cryoprotectant. The antibody is unconjugated, leaving the user free to choose a secondary label, and it is intended for Western Blotting (WB) and Immunohistochemistry (IHC) workflows. Published reactivity covers human samples, with cross-reactivity also reported against mouse, making it suitable for translational studies in human tissues and corresponding mouse models. Shipped on cold packs at 4 °C, the vial should be aliquoted upon arrival and stored at –20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve activity.
