Anti-ENDOG Antibody

Unconjugated polyclonal antibody raised in rabbit against Endonuclease G (ENDOG), a mitochondria-resident nuclease that translocates to the nucleus during programmed cell death to cleave chromatin DNA in a caspase-independent manner. The reagent is also used to study mitochondrial DNA replication and repair in proliferating cells. Supplied as 100 µl of a 1 mg/ml stock in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol as cryoprotectant, it is validated for Western Blot detection of ENDOG in human, mouse and rat samples, supporting comparative work across model organisms in apoptosis, mitochondrial genome maintenance and oxidative stress research. The unconjugated format lets users pair the antibody with HRP, fluorophore or biotin detection chemistries of their own choosing, and the 50% glycerol content allows the vial to be kept at -20 °C without freeze-thaw damage during routine use.
