Anti-Emp Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com as a primary antibody for research use, this polyclonal reagent is raised in rabbit and directed against the endogenous Emp protein. The antibody is provided as a 50 µl liquid formulation at 1 mg/mL in PBS containing 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA, and 0.02% sodium azide. It is unconjugated and of the IgG isotype, and has been affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen derived from the internal region of human Emp. Validated for ELISA, Western blot, and immunohistochemistry, the reagent reacts with human, mouse, and rat samples and recognizes several Emp aliases, including E3 ubiquitin-protein transferase MAEA, Erythroblast macrophage protein, HLC-10, Human lung cancer oncogene 10 protein, Macrophage erythroblast attacher, and P44EMLP. For routine handling, it is shipped at 4°C and should be aliquoted upon arrival and stored at −20°C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve activity.
