Anti-EMD Antibody

Raised in rabbit against the human emerin protein, this polyclonal antibody targets EMD, the gene encoding emerin—a 254-amino-acid integral membrane component of the inner nuclear envelope. Loss-of-function mutations in EMD cause X-linked Emery-Dreifuss muscular dystrophy (EDMD), and the protein is widely studied in the context of nuclear envelope integrity, lamin binding, and cardiac and skeletal muscle pathology.
