Emerin, encoded by the EMD gene, is a 34 kDa integral membrane protein localized to the inner nuclear membrane where it contributes to nuclear envelope integrity and tethering of chromatin. This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com is raised against EMD and validated for Western blot, immunohistochemistry, and immunofluorescence workflows across human, mouse, and rat samples. Supplied at 1 mg/ml in PBS containing 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, the reagent ships as a 100 µl aliquot enabling routine immunodetection of emerin in cell and tissue preparations. Researchers studying Emery-Dreifuss muscular dystrophy, nuclear envelope architecture, and X-linked genetic disorders commonly use anti-Emerin antibodies to assess membrane protein localization and expression patterns.
