Anti-ELSPBP1 Antibody

A rabbit polyclonal antibody targeting ELSPBP1, supplied by Antibodies.com as a primary antibody reagent. The unconjugated IgG antibody is validated for Western blot and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence applications, with reactivity confirmed against mouse and rat samples.

The immunogen is a recombinant fusion protein corresponding to amino acids 110–223 of human ELSPBP1 (NP_071425.3). The antibody is affinity purified and supplied as a liquid in Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.01% thiomersal. Reported molecular weight of the target is 26 kDa, and concentration is lot specific. Recommended working dilutions are 1:500–1:2,000 for Western blot and 1:50–1:200 for immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence. The product is shipped at 4°C; upon delivery it should be aliquoted and stored at −20°C, avoiding freeze/thaw cycles.

ELSPBP1, also known as epididymal sperm binding protein 1, is tissue-enriched in the epididymis and predicted to localise intracellularly and be secreted within the male reproductive system. The corresponding gene maps to chromosome 19 (47994632–48025154) with Ensembl ID ENSG00000169393.
