ELOA1 (also called TCEB3 or Elongin-A) is the regulatory subunit of the SIII transcription elongation complex, and this unconjugated polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com is raised in rabbit to detect the protein across human, mouse, and rat samples. The reagent ships as a 100 µl aliquot for western blot and immunohistochemistry workflows.
ELOA1 engages RNA polymerase II and accelerates catalytic elongation past nucleosome-barricaded chromatin in vitro, so the antibody is useful for studies of transcription elongation-factor regulation. The unconjugated format allows pairing with secondary reporters of choice depending on the assay, from HRP-driven chromogenic western blot detection to fluorescent immunohistochemistry imaging. Refrigerated storage is recommended to preserve the polyclonal antibody population.
