A polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com directed against E74-like factor 3 (ELF3), a member of the ETS transcription factor family involved in epithelial differentiation and in signaling contexts reported across several solid tumor types.

Affinity-purified from rabbit host serum, this unconjugated reagent is supplied at 1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, and is packaged as a 100 µl single-use vial. Verified applications include western blot for resolving endogenous ELF3 from cell or tissue lysates, and immunohistochemistry for visualizing nuclear distribution in formalin-fixed sections. The polyclonal composition provides multi-epitope recognition of the target, while the unconjugated format supports flexible pairing with HRP-, biotin-, or fluorophore-conjugated secondary antibodies in either chromogenic or fluorescence workflows.

Species reactivity has been confirmed against human and rat samples, which makes this reagent useful for translational studies and comparative work between these two species. ELF3 is reported in breast, prostate, lung, and colorectal carcinoma research, often alongside markers of epithelial-mesenchymal transition, so the antibody is commonly paired with epithelial cytokeratin or vimentin markers in immunohistochemistry panels. On western blot, ELF3 is generally observed near its predicted molecular weight of approximately 41 kDa, depending on isoform and sample preparation. The sodium azide content preserves the antibody for routine short-term storage and is compatible with standard chromogenic detection. Storage instructions typically call for keeping the vial refrigerated and protected from light, with aliquoting recommended to limit freeze-thaw cycles when the reagent is used intermittently.
