EKLF (Erythroid Kruppel-Like Factor, also called KLF1) is a zinc-finger transcription factor central to terminal erythroid differentiation and activation of the adult beta-globin promoter. This polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com was raised in rabbit against the human target and is supplied unconjugated in a 100 µl volume, ready for western blot and ELISA workflows.
Investigators studying globin switching, hereditary persistence of fetal hemoglobin, and congenital dyserythropoietic anemia rely on anti-EKLF reagents to probe transcription factor expression in erythroid cell lines, primary hematopoietic cultures, and recombinant reporter systems. The polyclonal format increases the chance of recognizing multiple epitopes on KLF1, supporting detection across denaturing lysate preparations and peptide-coated ELISA plates.
The antibody is intended for research use only and should be aliquoted upon arrival to limit freeze-thaw cycles; store refrigerated between sessions for the best long-term stability of working stocks.
