Anti-EIF5A Antibody - Identical to Abcam (ab187177)

A primary antibody from Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal reagent specifically recognises eIF5A and is supplied unconjugated. It is validated for Western blot (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC) and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF), and reacts with human and mouse samples. The antibody is of the IgG isotype.

The immunogen is a recombinant fusion protein containing amino acids 1–154 of human eIF5A (NP_001137234.1). The reagent is affinity purified and supplied as a liquid in phosphate buffered saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.02% sodium azide. The target protein has a molecular weight of 17 kDa. Recommended starting dilutions are WB 1:500–1:2,000, IHC 1:50–1:200, and ICC/IF 1:50–1:200. The product is shipped at 4°C; upon receipt, aliquot and store at -20°C, avoiding repeated freeze/thaw cycles.

Published validation images demonstrate the antibody at a 1:1,000 dilution in Western blotting of cell line extracts loaded at 25 µg per lane, in IHC at 1:20 on paraffin-embedded human breast cancer tissue (with high-pressure antigen retrieval in 10 mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0), and in immunofluorescence on U2OS cells counterstained with DAPI.
