Anti-EIF4G1 (phospho-S1148) Antibody

From Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal antibody recognises EIF4G1 when phosphorylated at serine 1148. The unconjugated reagent is validated for Western blot (WB) and reacts with Human, Mouse and Rat samples. According to the manufacturer, it was raised against a synthetic peptide corresponding to residues in human EIF4G1 around the S1148 phosphorylation site, and detects endogenous levels of EIF4G1 protein at this site.

The antibody is supplied at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide, at approximately pH 7.3. It has been affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen, with a stated purity of >95% (by SDS-PAGE). The target protein runs at a molecular weight of approximately 175 kDa.
