Anti-EIF4G1 Antibody

A polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com raised in rabbit targets EIF4G1. The unconjugated IgG reagent is listed for Western blot, immunohistochemistry, immunofluorescence, and immunoprecipitation applications, with reactivity confirmed on human, mouse, and rat samples.

The immunogen is a synthetic phosphorylated peptide around residue S1108 of human EIF4G1 (NP_001181875.1), corresponding to the sequence GGSGA. The antibody is supplied as a liquid preparation in phosphate buffered saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.01% thiomersal, and is affinity-purified. Reported molecular weight for the target is 250 kDa.

For Western blot, a working dilution of 1:500-1:1,000 is recommended. The product is shipped at 4°C and should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C on arrival; repeated freeze/thaw cycles should be avoided.
