Description
This primary antibody from Antibodies.com is a rabbit polyclonal reagent raised against eIF4G (Q1103). It is unconjugated and supplied at 1 mg/ml in phosphate-buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide, approximately pH 7.2. The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen corresponding to amino acids 1080–1130 of human eIF4G, and the purity is greater than 95% by SDS-PAGE.
The reagent specifically detects endogenous levels of total eIF4G protein. It is validated for use in immunohistochemistry (IHC) and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF), and reacts with human, mouse and rat samples.
