Anti-eIF4E3 Antibody

Supplied by Antibodies.com, this affinity-purified reagent is a rabbit polyclonal antibody raised against eukaryotic translation initiation factor 4E type 3 (eIF4E3), generated using a synthetic peptide derived from the internal region of the human protein. The antibody is provided as a liquid formulation in PBS containing 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA and 0.02% sodium azide, at a working concentration of 1 mg/mL, and the catalog size offered here is 50 µL per vial. It is unconjugated and is of the IgG isotype, making it suitable for use as a primary antibody in standard immunoassays without the need for an intermediate labeling step. Validated applications include Western blotting (WB) and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA), and the reagent has been confirmed to react with human, mouse and rat samples, allowing cross-species study of eIF4E3 expression. By Western blot, the antibody detects endogenous levels of eIF4E3 protein, supporting studies of cap-binding translation initiation factors in cell lysate preparations.
