Anti-eIF4E (R215) Antibody

Raised in rabbit against a region surrounding residue R215 of eukaryotic translation initiation factor 4E (eIF4E), this polyclonal primary antibody is supplied at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide at approximately pH 7.2. eIF4E is the cap-binding subunit of the eIF4F translation initiation complex and is frequently upregulated in transformed cells, making it a target of interest for studies of cap-dependent translation, oncogenic signaling, and stress-responsive translation control.
