Anti-eIF4E (phospho-S209) Antibody

Rabbit polyclonal antibody supplied by Antibodies.com, raised against a synthetic phosphopeptide derived from human eIF4E around the phosphorylation site of Serine 209. The unconjugated reagent is reactive with Human, Mouse and Rat samples and has been validated for immunohistochemistry (IHC). Specificity is directed to endogenous eIF4E protein only when phosphorylated at Ser209.

The antibody is supplied at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide, at approximately pH 7.2. It has been affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen, with purity greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE. The target protein migrates at approximately 25 kDa.
