Anti-eIF4E (phospho-S209) Antibody

This phospho-specific rabbit polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com is raised against eukaryotic translation initiation factor 4E (eIF4E) only when phosphorylated at serine 209. The S209 mark is deposited by Mnk1/Mnk2 kinases acting downstream of MAPK and mTOR signalling, so the antibody supports studies of cap-dependent translation control, oncogenic transformation, and cellular stress responses in human, mouse, and rat samples. Supplied at 1 mg/ml in 100 µl of phosphate buffered saline (pH ~7.2) with 0.05% sodium azide as preservative, the unconjugated antibody is validated for western blot (expected band near 25 kDa) and immunohistochemistry applications.
