Anti-EIF4E Antibody

Supplied by Antibodies.com, this affinity-purified reagent is a Rabbit polyclonal antibody raised against recombinant human EIF4E (eukaryotic translation initiation factor 4E, also known as eIF-4F 25 kDa subunit, EIF4EL1, EIF4F or cap-binding protein). The antibody is unconjugated and detects the endogenous level of total EIF4E protein in samples from Human, Mouse and Rat, making it a versatile choice for cross-species translational research. It is offered in a 50 µl format at a concentration of 1.0 mg/mL, formulated in phosphate-buffered saline (without Mg²⁺ and Ca²⁺) at pH 7.4, containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol as a cryoprotectant. For routine applications the antibody has been validated in Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunocytochemistry/Immunofluorescence (ICC/IF) and Immunoprecipitation (IP), giving laboratories a single reagent that can be used across expression, localisation and interaction studies of the cap-binding translation initiation complex.
