Anti-eIF4B (phospho-Ser422) Antibody

A rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com targets eIF4B phosphorylated at Serine 422, raised against a synthetic phosphopeptide derived from human eIF4B around the phosphorylation site of Serine 422. The unconjugated antibody is validated for Western blot (WB) applications, with reactivity confirmed against human, mouse and rat samples.

Specificity is restricted to endogenous levels of eIF4B protein only when phosphorylated at Ser422. The antibody has been affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using the epitope-specific immunogen, with purity greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE. The detected target has a molecular weight of approximately 80 kDa.

The product is supplied at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) containing 15 mM sodium azide at approximately pH 7.2, and is supported by one scientific validation image.
