Rabbit polyclonal IgG raised against a recombinant fragment spanning human EIF4B amino acids 350 to the C-terminus (UniProt P23588). Affinity purified and supplied by Antibodies.com as 50 µl of liquid antibody in a vial with a glycerol/PBS storage buffer (pH 7.3, 0.02% sodium azide).

Validated for western blot, IHC-P, and ICC/IF on human samples, with suggested working dilutions of 1/500 to 1/2000 for western blot and 1/50 to 1/200 for immunohistochemistry on formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded sections. The antibody detects endogenous EIF4B with a predicted band size of 69 kDa, demonstrated on MCF7, 22RV-1, HeLa, 293T, and M21 whole-cell lysates. The recombinant immunogen maps to the C-terminal region of the translation initiation factor, allowing recognition of full-length EIF4B regardless of phosphorylation state.
