Raised in rabbit against recombinant full-length human EIF3H (also annotated eIF3-gamma, eIF3-p40, and EIF3S3), this polyclonal IgG reagent from Antibodies.com detects endogenous levels of the EIF3H subunit in human, mouse, and rat samples. The antibody is affinity-purified by epitope-specific chromatography to greater than 95% purity by SDS-PAGE and is supplied as a 50 µl aliquot at 1 mg/ml in PBS containing 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol. Unconjugated delivery lets researchers pair it with HRP, biotin, or a fluorophore of their own choice for custom detection chemistries.

Validated for Western blot, immunofluorescence, and immunoprecipitation, the polyclonal format provides multi-epitope recognition of the approximately 40 kDa EIF3H subunit and supports robust capture of the endogenous protein together with its assembled partners within the eIF3 holocomplex. Because EIF3H contributes to the largest of the translation initiation complexes and helps load the small ribosomal subunit onto mRNA during assembly of the 43S pre-initiation complex, the reagent is used to study cap-dependent translation initiation, monitor changes in eIF3 subunit composition, and investigate altered eIF3H abundance or incorporation in oncogenic and cellular stress-response settings across cross-species model systems.

For continuous use, store at -20 °C and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles; small-volume working aliquots are recommended to preserve antibody activity over multiple experiments.
