The EIF3F protein (Eukaryotic Translation Initiation Factor 3 Subunit F) is a ~36 kDa component of the multi-subunit eIF3 complex, which drives cap-dependent translation initiation in eukaryotic cells. This Antibodies.com primary antibody is a rabbit polyclonal reagent raised against EIF3F and intended for Western blot and immunohistochemistry workflows, with confirmed reactivity against both human (Homo sapiens) and mouse (Mus musculus) samples.

Supplied as 100 µl of unconjugated antiserum in a single-use vial, the antibody is suitable for probing endogenous EIF3F expression in whole-cell lysates, formalin-fixed tissue sections, and cultured mammalian cell lines. Investigators working on translation regulation, ribosome biogenesis, and the p53-linked pro-apoptotic signaling attributed to EIF3F use this reagent to track subunit abundance under stress, oncogenic transformation, or differentiation stimuli.

For long-term integrity, store the vial frozen at -20°C in small aliquots to limit freeze-thaw cycles and protect the immunoglobulin fraction; for active bench use, keep refrigerated at 4°C. The unconjugated format allows flexible pairing with HRP-, fluorophore-, or biotin-conjugated secondary antibodies of the user's choice, supporting both chromogenic and fluorescence detection on Western blot membranes and IHC slides.
