Anti-EIF3C Antibody

Rabbit polyclonal antibody targeting EIF3C, supplied by Antibodies.com within their Primary Antibodies range. The reagent is raised in rabbit, is of the IgG isotype and is unconjugated. It is validated for western blot (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC) and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF) applications, and reacts with Human, Mouse and Rat samples [S1][S2].

The antibody was generated against a recombinant fusion protein corresponding to amino acids 694–913 of human EIF3C (NP_003743.1) and is purified by affinity chromatography [S1][S2]. The target protein has a molecular weight of 105 kDa [S1][S2]. The product is supplied in Phosphate Buffered Saline, pH 7.3, containing 50% glycerol and 0.02% sodium azide. It is shipped at 4°C, should be aliquoted on arrival and stored at -20°C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided [S1][S2]. Recommended working dilutions are WB 1:500–1:2,000, IHC 1:50–1:200 and ICC/IF 1:50–1:100 [S1][S2].

Validation data include western blot analysis of various cell lines at a 1:1,000 antibody dilution with a Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG H&L (HRP) secondary at 1:10,000; lysates were loaded at 25 µg per lane, blocked with 3% non-fat dry milk in TBST and detected with an ECL Basic Kit at 30 s exposure [S2]. Immunohistochemistry images for paraffin-embedded rat brain, mouse intestine and mouse brain are provided at 1:100 dilution under a 40x lens, following microwave antigen retrieval with 10 mM PBS buffer pH 7.2 [S2].
