Anti-EIF2S1 Antibody

A rabbit polyclonal antibody to EIF2S1, supplied by Antibodies.com as an unconjugated IgG preparation in liquid form. The antibody is raised against a recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 1–260 of human eIF2a and is purified by affinity chromatography. It reacts with human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC) and immunofluorescence (IF), with a recommended WB dilution of 1:100–1:500.

The reagent is formulated in Phosphate Buffered Saline at pH 7.3 with 50% glycerol and 0.02% sodium azide as preservative; the concentration is reported as lot-specific and the target protein has a molecular weight of 38 kDa. The product is shipped at 4°C and should be aliquoted and stored at –20°C on arrival, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve activity.
