Anti-Eif2ak2 Antibody

Rabbit polyclonal IgG antibody to Eif2ak2, described in manufacturer literature under the name PKR, supplied by Antibodies.com as a primary antibody. The antibody is unconjugated and raised in a rabbit host.

Applications listed differ between sources: one source lists Western blot, immunohistochemistry and immunofluorescence, while the manufacturer lists Western blot and ELISA. Reactivity is reported as Human, Mouse and Rat by one source and Human only by the manufacturer. Recommended dilution for Western blot is 1:500–1:1,000.

The immunogen is a recombinant fusion protein corresponding to amino acids 1–270 of human PKR. The product is provided as a liquid in Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH 7.3) with 50% glycerol and 0.02% sodium azide, and is purified by affinity chromatography. Predicted molecular weight is 62 kDa; observed molecular weight is 69 kDa. The antibody is shipped at 4 °C and, upon delivery, should be aliquoted and stored at –20 °C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided.
