The antibody recognizes the native protein under denaturing conditions, yielding a band near the predicted 12.6 kDa molecular weight in whole-cell lysates from cultured human and murine cell lines.

The unconjugated format allows pairing with any HRP- or fluorophore-conjugated secondary antibody, supporting research into cap-dependent translation, ribosome biogenesis, stress-granule assembly, and translational dysregulation in oncogenic signaling.
