Anti-EHMT2 Antibody

Offered by Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal primary antibody is raised against EHMT2 (also known as G9a), a histone methyltransferase involved in transcriptional regulation. It is supplied as a 50 µl aliquot at 1.0 mg/mL in phosphate-buffered saline (pH 7.4) containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, and is unconjugated. The immunogen is a recombinant human EHMT2 protein, and the reagent was purified by affinity chromatography against that immunogen, allowing it to detect endogenous levels of total EHMT2. Validated applications include Western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC), with reactivity confirmed against human, mouse and rat samples, making it suitable for cross-species chromatin and epigenetics research. Because it is a polyclonal reagent, lot-to-lot variability is reduced and epitope coverage is broader than with monoclonal alternatives.
