Anti-EHHADH Antibody

Produced in rabbit and supplied by Antibodies.com, this polyclonal antibody recognizes the peroxisomal bifunctional enzyme EHHADH (enoyl-CoA hydratase and 3-hydroxyacyl-CoA dehydrogenase), a key catalyst of peroxisomal fatty acid beta-oxidation. Provided at 1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, the 100 µl liquid format is ready for direct dilution into standard blocking buffers. The reagent is validated for Western blot and immunohistochemistry and shows reactivity with human, mouse, and rat samples, enabling cross-species studies of peroxisomal metabolism. EHHADH localizes to peroxisomes in hepatocytes and renal proximal tubule cells, and the antibody is used in research on peroxisome biogenesis disorders, hepatic lipid handling, and PPARα-regulated pathways.
