A rabbit polyclonal IgG reagent raised against EHD2 (EH Domain Containing 2), supplied by Antibodies.com as a 200 µl vial of unconjugated antibody. EHD2 is a dynamin-related ATPase that localizes to the cytoplasmic face of caveolae and to lipid droplet surfaces, where it couples ATP hydrolysis to membrane tubulation and fission. The polyclonal IgG format recognizes multiple epitopes on the 61 kDa target protein, supporting reproducible detection in cell and tissue lysates.

For Western blot, loading 20 to 40 µg of total protein per lane resolves EHD2 at the expected molecular weight of approximately 61 kDa. The same reagent supports immunohistochemistry on paraffin-embedded and frozen tissue sections. It is reactive against human, mouse, and rat samples.

Laboratories studying adipogenesis, insulin-responsive glucose uptake, endothelial caveolae dynamics, and receptor recycling pathways routinely work with anti-EHD2 reagents. The unconjugated format leaves fluorophore or enzyme conjugation to the end user, allowing flexible integration into standard imaging pipelines.

Handling: store frozen at -20 °C, protect from light, and aliquot upon first use to limit freeze-thaw cycles. This reagent is for research use only and is not intended for diagnostic or therapeutic applications.
