Anti-EGLN1 + EGLN2 Antibody

Produced by Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal primary antibody recognises EGLN1 and EGLN2 (also referred to as PHD1 and PHD2 prolyl hydroxylase). It is of the IgG isotype, unconjugated, and supplied as a liquid. The antibody reacts with Human, Mouse and Rat samples and is validated for Western blot (WB) applications. According to the Antibodies.com catalogue entry, applications additionally include immunohistochemistry (IHC); the manufacturer's specification, however, only lists WB.

The immunogen is a synthetic peptide corresponding to a sequence within amino acids 250–350 of human EGLN1/EGLN2 (NP_071334.1/NP_444274.1). The antibody is affinity purified, and the reported molecular weight is 44 kDa.

The product is supplied in phosphate buffered saline, pH 7.3, with 50% glycerol and 0.02% sodium azide. Concentration is lot specific. The recommended Western blot dilution range is 1:500–1:2,000. For storage, the antibody is shipped at 4 °C; upon delivery it should be aliquoted and stored at −20 °C, with freeze/thaw cycles to be avoided.
