Raised in rabbit against EGLN1 (also known as PHD2, HIF-PH2, HPH-2, SM-20, C1orf12 or ZMYND6), this polyclonal primary antibody from Antibodies.com is supplied as an unconjugated IgG at 1 mg/mL in phosphate-buffered saline containing 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol. Each vial contains 50 µL of the affinity-purified reagent, which has been validated for Western blotting, immunohistochemistry and immunofluorescence (ICC/IF) on human, mouse and rat samples, making it suitable for studies of hypoxia signalling and prolyl hydroxylation. The antibody recognises endogenous levels of total EGLN1 protein and, according to the supplier, should be shipped at 4 °C, aliquoted on arrival, and stored at –20 °C with freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve activity. The unconjugated format gives researchers full flexibility to couple the reagent to their preferred fluorophore, enzyme or biotin label for downstream detection. Host species, clonality, isotype (IgG), reactivity profile, buffer composition, concentration and storage guidance have all been taken directly from the Antibodies.com product listing for this reagent.
