Anti-EGFR (phospho-Y992) Antibody

Rabbit polyclonal antibody targeting EGFR phosphorylated at Tyrosine 992, offered by Antibodies.com as a primary antibody reagent. The antibody is unconjugated and raised in rabbit, with reactivity confirmed against human samples, and is validated for use in Western blotting (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC).

The immunogen is a synthetic phosphopeptide derived from human EGFR surrounding the phosphorylation site of Tyrosine 992, and the antibody selectively detects endogenous EGFR only when phosphorylated at Tyr992. The product is supplied at 1mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% Sodium Azide and 50% Glycerol, and the target protein migrates at approximately 175 kDa.

The antibody is affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using the epitope-specific immunogen, with purity greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
