Anti-EGFR (phospho-Y992) Antibody

A rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com is raised against EGFR phosphorylated at Tyrosine 992, providing a phospho-specific reagent for studies of receptor signalling.

The unconjugated antibody is produced in rabbit and selectively detects endogenous EGFR only when phosphorylated at Tyr992. The immunogen is a synthetic phosphopeptide derived from the human EGFR sequence surrounding the Tyr992 phosphorylation site. The reagent is supplied at 1 mg/ml in a PBS buffer containing sodium azide and glycerol, and has been affinity-purified using the epitope-specific immunogen to a purity greater than 95 percent as judged by SDS-PAGE.

Validated for Western blotting (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC) and immunofluorescence (IF), the antibody reacts with Human and Rat samples, with an expected target molecular weight of approximately 175 kDa.
