Anti-EGFR (phospho Y992) Antibody

Available from Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal antibody targets EGFR phosphorylated at Tyr992 and is validated for Western blot (WB). It is unconjugated, of the IgG isotype, and reacts with Human and Mouse samples.

The antibody was raised against a synthetic phosphorylated peptide around Y992 of human EGFR (NP_005219.2); the corresponding immunogen sequence is DEYLI. It is supplied as a liquid in Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.02% sodium azide, and has been purified by affinity chromatography. The target protein has a reported molecular weight of 180 kDa, and the reagent concentration is lot specific. The manufacturer-recommended dilution for WB is 1:500–1:2,000.

For storage, the product is shipped at 4°C; upon delivery it should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C, avoiding repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
